Les Orgues

Situated in the Valley of Têt River, at the foothills of the Pyrenees, the "Orgues" ("Pipe Organs") is geological site unique in its way in France. Since 5 million years the nature has been carving in the sand and the clay, brought by the river from the nearby mountains, astonishing natural sculptures, creating a surreal landscape that brings to mind the description "chimneys of the fairies".
The site of around 1 ha can be visited in one hour after a relatively easy 1 km hike.

From February 4th to March 31st: 10am - 6pm
From April 1st to June 14th: 9.30am - 7pm
From June 15th to September 14th: 9:15 am - 8 pm
From September 15th to October 15th: 9.30am - 7pm
From October 16th to November 5th: 10am - 6pm
From November 6th to December 20th: 2pm - 5:30pm
The ticket office / shop closes 1 hour before the site!
