Château Fontesteau

Visitor's Rating: (0 out of 4/Number of Votes:0)

Château Fontesteau is not a grand cru but makes an interesting visit.
Its manor was initially built in the 13th century –and renovated in 1997 – is situated in the middle of a 100 hectares park. The building still preserves its three crenellated towers and the ramparts. In olden times the location has witnessed the passage of the Saint Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims as well as the visit of King Francis I of Valois.
The 32 hectares vineyard has been for the last 20 years noteworthy for its approach to organic grape growing methods.

Hello, is it possible to visit your chateau for a visit and wine tasting? We are finally going to take our dream vacation next May, there are four of us for this visit. Would you kindly tell us what the fees are for the tasting.
Thank you
