November 2015 Newsletter

October 30th, 2015

Bonjour ou bonsoir chers amis,

We are landing in your Inbox again….

"Brouillard en novembre, l'hiver sera tendre." - "Fog in November, the winter will be tender".
Here in France we start November with a national holiday - "La Toussaint" - the Catholic celebration on the 1st of November of all the saints, known or unknown - which "unfortunately" this year falls on a Sunday and therefore is not a day off!
But the next public holiday is not far, only 11 days away: the commemoration of the armistice that ended the First World War on November 11th.
And still, November is not done with its celebrations: like every year the third Thursday of the month the French - and the whole world for that matter, Japanese being at their midnight the proud first ones - celebrate the arrival of the new wine - "Beaujolais Nouveau" - the earliest wine of the year's vintage, drunk after only few weeks of fermentation.
