Every year in July, the town of Marmande -some 60km north west of Agen in the Lot-et-Garonne department - celebrates the tomatoes in all its varieties, shapes, colors, tastes! For two days, the city dressed in red, receives Michelin starred chefs, parades to the sound of music bands and rends homage to the famous "Apple of Love" - the tomato.

The auto hill climb event of Revel - 61km or ~37mi south east of Toulouse - has become a must for car enthusiasts.
This event is the oldest of its kind in Midi Pyrenees. It brings together more then a hundred competitors.
It is an intense car sprint on a short distance: 1.650 km (~1mi). It takes place on the road Revel-Saint-Ferréol Vaudreuille towards the Montagne Noire.
It takes place every year on the thirs weekend of July (Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday).
