April 2014 Newsletter

March 29, 2014
Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening (depending on the side of the planet!!!)

Bordeaux en primeur April is since …two centuries(!) the month of the "En Primeur" event of Bordeaux – the world renowned wine tasting event that allows the region's wine chateaux to present and sell their – still in the barrel – previous year wines (2 years before of their bottle release).
According to Decanter Magazine "Bordeaux is set for a low-key en primeur campaign this year, with some describing 2013 as the region's worst vintage for 20 years".
The event is open only to wine professionals.
